Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) ‘Supports’ refer to services and products required by a participant to address the impact of a disability.

Supports can include mainstream services, assistance from family and carers (informal) and NDIS funded items.

If you are a participant under the NDIS, CCDN can provide assistance to strengthen your ability to coordinate and implement supports and participate more fully in the community.

This includes:

  • initial assistance with linking you with the right providers to meet your needs
  • providing assistance to source providers
  • coordinating a range of supports, both funded and mainstream, and building on informal supports
    resolving points of crisis
  • developing your resilience in your own network and community.
